The factory that was founded in Alexandria province of Egypt on an area of 180 thousand m² in 2006 has an closed area of 24 thousand m². Official opening ceremony of the plant with a production capacity of 6 thousand tons/year was carried out by the State Minister Kürsat Tuzmen on 21.01.2009.

Abalıoglu Textile continues to manufacture labor and energy intensive standard products that have lost their competitive advantages in Turkey, at the plant established under the name of CSA Textile Egypt SAE in Egypt.

It produces modal, tencel, viscose, bamboo and cotton yarns. It sells these products into Egyptian, Turkish and the European markets.
